SINDHI KADHI

                       Ingredients :


 oil : 2 tbsp
besan : 1.5 cup
turmeric powder : 1/4 tsp 
chilly powder : 3/4 tsp 
curry leaves
dhania-jeera powder :1/2 tsp
tamarind pulp : 2.5 tsp 
methee seeds : 1/4 tsp
jeeraa seeds : 1/4 tsp
dhania patti (chopped ) :2 tbsp 
green chillies : 2 
sugar : 1 tbsp
salt to taste 


                 Assorted veg :


 peeled potato cubes
quartered brinjals 
cooked lady fingers
drumstick pieces
peeled pumpkin cubes 
quartered tomatoes 
carrot slices 
soaked groundnuts 


                 Method :


Heat oil in a vessel ,season it with slit green chillies ,curry leaves ,methee and jeera seeds .When seeds splutter ,add besn and fry till it is light brown in colour and gives out a nice aroma . Remove from burner and when it is slightly cold , gradually add water yo besan and mix with an egg beater till the besan is well mixed and of smooth consistency . Add tamarind pulp ,salt ,dhania , jeera , chilly and turmeric powder . bring ahe besan mixture to a boil in a pressure cooker .Add assorted vegetables . Cook approximately six minutes .
Garnish with chopped dhania patti .
